Cutting Government Spending

As Kansans we work hard and live within our means. Our government does not.

J.R. believes in conservative economic principles. That means efficient use of resources, cutting out waste, and being a responsible steward of every tax dollar spent. We need better Government, not bigger Government. We need a Government that understands it needs to be reasonable, responsible, and accountable to the people that it serves. Not the other way around.

J.R. is running for Secretary of State to help 'Clean up Kansas' so that businesses can grow without a pile of red tape and regulation. So that our right to vote, our most important right, remains safe and secure. And, so that every Kansan can participate in our great Democracy and fulfill the dreams of our founding fathers.

Fiscal Conservatism
We have watched our tax dollars -- and the tax dollars of future generations of Kansans -- being flushed down the drain in the name of "stimulus." But we all know what it really is: another excuse to dump our tax dollars into pork projects and the liberal agenda. J.R. believes in fiscal restraint and true conservatism.

Focusing on Efficiency
J.R. is committed to low taxes, limited government and an economy driven by innovation. J.R. knows that government at its best can be a hassle, and at its worst can be a burden. Maintaining accessibility while cutting costs is a priority for J.R.

Currently the Secretary of State relies on filing fees to run the office rather than drawing funds from tax dollars. J.R. pledges to keep fees as low as possible while providing quality service to the people of Kansas and will never ask for tax dollars to be spent on running the office.

If you believe the cornerstone of good government is accountability, fiscal restraint and responsible stewardship, join J.R. and his campaign to stop government waste.
